Location/Approach
The location is ideal-just outside Pahalgam town,on the bank of Lidder River, next to Lavender park -commanding panoramic view of Pahalgam valley, nearby forests, distant snow peaks including Tulin lake area, as well as majestic mountains toward holy amaranth cave. Approach There is all weather macadamized road from market right up to the gate of guesthouse with signs and street lighting (during night) all the way. The guest house is shown Google Maps hence easily approachable through GPS as well.
Accommodation
The guest house remains open form March to November..
There are five luxurious double rooms. Each room has own attached ultra modern wash room shower ,wc wash Basin with single lever mixers.There is running hot water which comes from wood fired main boiler. So we are not dependent on mains electric for hot water. The rooms are with wall to wall carpeting, wood paneling, exquisite furniture cruel embroidered curtains, clean linen. We also provide modern blowers, electric blankets, and hot water bottles during cold weather. Each room having a modern TV and individual satellite receiver (Airtel), as well as modern intercom setup and high speed WiFi internet.
Please note all windows of the Guest House are double one with glass another with strong gauze (to stop flying insects from coming in to the room
Facilities
For power backup, there is inverter with a generator backup.The main lounge in front commands panoramic views of nature and has a dining area for sixteen guests at a time It is has imported timber floor, wood paneling, cruel embroidered curtains ,comfortable furniture with wall paintings, pc art and various decorations.The lounge/dining area has heating arrangements and has own toilet/wash facility. There are two kitchens- the main kitchen (with guesthouse) is with modern fittings and gadgets. The 2nd kitchen is for staff and located just behind the guest house.Attached to the guest house is an office/reception quarter and a staff room with own bathrooms.
Parking/Lawn
There is parking place for 5 cars within the guesthouse premises and we can arrange parking for more vehicles when required. The guesthouse has well appointed lawn in front and is enclosed on all sides with grill fencing, evergreen plants and rose plants. There is also variety of flowers decorated in beds and pots giving feeling of mini flower garden.
